Hydrating & moisturizing
The Hydration Serum is rich in hydrating, moisture binding & nourishing ingredients.
Barrier recovering substances
If the skin is low in moisture, the skin barrier must become strong and healthy again. The skin is then more resilient and can protect itself better. Substances that help restore your barrier function are Vitamin C, Panthenol and Niacinamide (multitaskers).
There are also moisturizing substances that improve the moisture balance in the skin by binding moisture. With dehydrated skin you need substances that ‘close’ the skin and also substances that retain the moisture like a sponge. Substances who can: Dimethicone and cyclomethicone (silicone), Glycerin, Hyaluronic acid, Collagen, Vegetable oils, Urea, Glycolic acid.
Serums versus Moisturizers
Serums can be used both morning and night to address specific skin issues more effectively than a moisturizer alone, and will also boost the hydrating effects of your moisturizer. Moisturizers have larger molecules than serums, so they don't penetrate into the epidermis or surface layer of the skin.
How to use
Apply in the morning and evening after cleansing and before the cream. Gently massage in.
Aqua, Glycerin, Dicaprylyl Ether, Hexylene Glycol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Maltose, Panthenol, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Fructose, Glucose, Carbomer, Dimethicone, Phenethyl Alcohol, Agave Tequilana Leaf Extract, Allantoin, Polyacrylate-13, Tocoheryl Acetate, Polyisobutene, Retinyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Benzoic Acid, Urea, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Sucrose, Dextrin, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Alanine, Aspartic Acid, Glutamin Acid, Tocopherol, Hexyl icotinate
Glycerin is one of the best moisturizers for the skin, which also occurs naturally on the skin. It thanks its moisturizing ability to its strong
water-attracting ability. Moisturizes the epidermis. Synergetic in combination with Hyaluronic acid.
Panthenol / Vitamin B5
Protective and constructive function.Holds the moisture and thus prevents dehydration of the skin. Plays a role in the energy supply to
the cells and the formation of new cells. Regulates the moisture balance.
Fructose/Glucose/Sucrose / Dextrin
Sucrose, fructose and glucose are all natural and have hygroscopic properties, meaning they attract and retain moisture. Helps to restore balance of the skins natural oils. The natural glycolic acid in sugar not only helps condition and moisturize skin, but protects it from pollutants and toxins.
Agave Tequilana Leaf Extract
The Mexican Tequila plant extract is a natural elastome with excellent properties for the skin. In addition to the proven effectiveness in
fading wrinkles, it also ensures an immediate and long lasting soothing effect on the skin and has a mattifying effect.
Extract from wheat germ. Stimulates the growth of healthy tissue and counteracts skin ageing. Supports the restorative capacity of the skin through stimulation of cell division.Allantoin has a soothing effect on irritation. Protects, soothes & hydrates the skin. Often used to minimize pore size.
Tocopheryl Acetate / Vitamin E
Natural moisturizer. In addition to a moisturizing function, vitamin E has also anti-inflammatory properties.Makes the skin soft and smooth and acts as an antioxidant. Protects the skin cells against free radicals.
Retinyl Acetate / Vitamin A
The skin building vitamin. Vitamin A plays a crucial role in the production of collagen and elastin and stimulates cell renewal. Vitamin A is the anti-ageing vitamin par excellence. It has great anti-ageing, superb anti-oxidant and moisturizing capabilities. It accelerates cell
renewal and stimulates the fibroblast and collagen in the skin, thereby reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Due to its anti-oxidant properties, it is also a great antiageing ingredient, and helps promote a softer smoother skin.
Urea + Glutamic Acid
Raw material blend consisting of Urea and Glutamic Acid. Improved hydration of the skin. Provides longlasting hydration. Makes the skin smoother.
The sodium salt of hyaluronic acid.A natural polysaccharide with a smaller molecular composition than Hyaluronic acid that retains moisture and ensures the elasticity and firmness of the skin. It makes the skin softer and makes them look younger.
Tocopherol / Vitamin E
Natural moisturizer. In addition to a moisturizing function, vitamin E has also anti-inflammatory properties. Makes the skin soft and smooth and acts as an antioxidant. Protects the skin cells against free radicals. Because of its ability to quench free radicals the term “protector” has been used to describe the actions of vitamin E. This may be also due to the excellent moisturizing effect of vitamin E. Vitamin E in combination with vitamin A produces increased storage of vitamin A when applied topically. Vitamin E is popular as
antioxidant, moisturizing and rejuvenating ingredient.
Alanine / Aspartic Acid
Amino acid that stimulates the immune system and helps the metabolisation of sugars and organic acids.
