Balancing Serum (Retail Product)
Retail 30 ml
The skin barrier ensures balance in the skin.
It is very important to keep our skin barrier intact. If the balance is disturbed, this can result in irritated skin, redness, rougher skin or shiny skin. Overexposure to sunlight (UV) can also cause an imbalance in pigmentation, and pigment spots may develop. Melanin is formed by the melanocytes to protect the skin against UV rays. In the case of overexposure to UV rays, the melanocytes can give an overreaction that is due to an excess of pigment (melanin), which is also distributed unevenly (Hyperpigmentation).
Serums versus Moisturizers
Serums can be used both morning and night to address specific skin issues more effectively than a moisturizer alone, and will also boost the hydrating effects of your moisturizer. Moisturizers have larger molecules than serums, so they don't penetrate into the epidermis or surface layer of the skin.
