Color through the Skin "Montréal"

Recently in Montréal, Québec, the Micro-Pigmentation Centre hosted its first ever Color through the Skin workshop, presented simultaneously in French and English. Through the expertise of a professional translation company using multiple translators, a myriad of equipment and infra- red two way headsets, 30 technicians, most who were French speaking, were able to interact with Pat Shibley-Gauthier during her powerful presentation and workshop. The Micro-Pigmentation Centre’s Québec clients have patiently waited for many years to have one of Pat’s workshops held in French and with this successful event it opens the door for many more to come. The all day event included study materials, a buffet lunch and a wealth of new gained knowledge.

Pat Shibley-Gauthier was an invited guest speaker at the recent Nouveau Contour World Conference on Permanent Makeup held in Orlando, Florida. Her presentation on pigments and their properties was presented to a packed room of technicians from around North America. As the originator of her proprietary formulas and manufacturer of the Micro-Pigmentation Centre's SIgnature Series pigments, she is sought after for her knowledge and professional presentations on pigments colors.

The Toronto Annual Breast Surgery Symposium originated as a combined effort between the Division of Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery and The Continuing Medical Education Office at The University of Toronto. Founded in April 2001 by Dr. Mitchell Brown who is also co-course director, it draws international surgeons in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, who attend to cover current concepts and new innovations in the field of reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.

The Micro-Pigmentation Centre has been a supporter of the symposium since its inception 13 years ago and works closely with both the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (CSAPS) as well as the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS).

The collective information that these international leaders share with their fellow physicians is instrumental in helping cancer survivors return to a normal life.

On April 28^th and 29^th, the Ethetique International Spa Show was held at the Metro Toronto Trade Centre and attended by beauty industry visitors from across North America.

As a supporter of these events for the past 22 years, the Micro-Pigmentation Centre has been involved as an exhibitor as well as well as a conference speaker, educating interested attendees on the various aspects of the Cosmetic Tattooing industry. Visitors can purchase products, discuss training course opportunities with the knowledgeable staff and view live demonstrations of a procedure.
